The Design Studio (5) project seeks urban modeling: clarification, evocation and humanization of urbanization in the city center of Buraidah - Al-Qassim. Through "urban development towards a human-friendly city". The project site is located in the partial urban area located in the center of Buraidah. Project goals: Practical application of design concepts and foundations related to the development of city centers by studying and analyzing all data and aspects of city centers. Re-design and urban development of the current city center by conducting preliminary studies and analyses, and then developing ideas, taking into account the full aspects related to the urban context such as the traditional character of the city and the environment. Its concepts are based on the principle of “all affects all” which relates to the intelligence of everything for a more efficient urban environment.

As part of the regional initiatives, a significant endeavor is underway to enhance the Municipal Park located in the central area of Buraidah. The expansion plan aims to increase the park's total area to an extensive 90,000 square meters, transforming it into a pivotal green space amidst the vibrant urban environment. This development project is accompanied by the implementation of the "Misk Project," which encompasses the establishment of a cultural center and innovation incubators. These additions are strategically designed to bolster the continuous advancement and growth within the region.
